The Deal of the Day Report

perpetual traffic
Making money on up and coming trends in our society is one of the oldest known and most profitable business strategies that businesses, marketers, and entrepreneurs have had the ability to take part in.  Getting involved in something revolutionary – at the start – has been proven over and over to produce extremely profitable results.

This upward trend of Daily Deals , deal of the day, and Group Buying websites has just started taking off and over the next 5-10 years this model will continue its steady upward climb.  Anyone on the crest of this wave can and will see astounding results in the short term, but also positive business and even life altering results in the long term.

Let’s talk about how and when the Daily Deal and Group Buying trends began.

The Daily Deal and Group Buying phenomena began like many others.  The ball started rolling back when a guy made a computer and then built a great team to market it correctly to the masses. People couldn’t communicate very well though and that led some smart people to create the Internet and eventually the World Wide Web.  This was awesome and new trends began immediately.  Domain names were purchased, email, chat rooms, online games and more.  After a short while, someone realized the Internet was a great place to sell things and Ecommerce was born.  Since the birth of Ecommerce, billions of dollars have been spent online.

In 2004 Ecommerce experienced one of the most influential changes it has ever experienced with the invention of the Daily Deal Ecommerce models. Initially introduced by Woot.com, this model has since exploded this past year and experienced unprecedented growth in 2010.  Now, the Daily Deal model and Group Buying model are growing quicker than any trend I have witnessed in the past 10 years.

To learn more about this Daily Deal trend you should read the DOD Report.

The DODReport was written by HC Consulting Group as part of their Daily Deal Builder software.  Software that allows you to start your own Groupon or Woot clone website business.
